Ripoff and RunThis spell-binding, suspenseful and quick read is a great summer book. It kept me engaged from beginning to end and was hard to put down, as I awaited the next turn of events. (My only complaint was that the story kept impelling me to read on, often well beyond my designated time for sleep until I reluctantly had to put it down with baited curiosity, awaiting the next night's reading session!) I found myself rooting for the main protagonist throughout his odyssey, wondering what will happen next! A highly recommended read.Product details

Wow! I raced through this book in about 3 days! The story captured my attention and held on. The author did his homework and has already honed a smart, entertaining writing style. Looking forward to more stories from Mr. Allen.
I loved this interesting and intelligently written novel so much I want more by Joel Allen. The intricately wound plot and fascinating characters totally captured my interest. Like several other readers I found myself rooting for the criminal. The FBI's view of the case, as well as touches of humour and romance added to the reality of the story. The reader is taken on a wild ride along with both sides of the law. I would highly recommend this book and hope to read more like it.
I wish it didn't end. I wanted more. Right from the start I wanted the "bad guy" to get away. Kept my interest all the way through.
Ripoff and Run was an excellent first novel by Joel Allen. The characters were captivating and it kept my interest from start to finish. I, too was sad to come to the end. I can't wait for another book by this author!
